The Interior Design Process

Before your meeting, go ahead and indulge in the fun part. Flip through magazines, click around Pinterest, try to put a name on your taste. The more we know, the better. Once we’ve gathered all the details about your style, wants and needs, we’ll select a design style that best fits you.

Just as importantly, before meeting with your designer reflect on your overall goals with the project. What do you really want to achieve with your design?  How do you use your home? Are there any special needs that should be accommodated? This helps your designer prioritize needs within your design—and can help you wrap your mind around costs and what you’d like to prioritize in terms of budget.

After your consultation, it's time to review your designer’s proposal. You can expect inspiration images, concept boards (furniture, material and décor), space planning layouts and an estimate of how long it would take as well as a budget recommendation.

If your designer didn’t nail everything during the first round, don’t fret. We’re happy to make another selection based on your feedback. We pride ourselves on giving you peace of mind, so we’re always here to help. Designing your space is a process, but we’re here to make it easy and enjoyable.

Weaving together all the layers creates a vision for your space. Our designers will supply you with numerous concept boards, floorplans and 3D renderings to fully bring your space to life before making your final decision. While ordering often takes place at multiple points during the process, some clients prefer to wait until the end. We select items for your home from a wide range of sources chosen based on your style and budget, many of which are only available to the trade.

Before anything is ordered, or any remodel work begins, you will be provided with an estimate that outlines everything for your approval. Once you have approved of the items and paid the invoice, will we begin ordering. While waiting for install day can require patience, the pay-off is incredible, as your space transforms into what most clients describe as something better than they had ever imagined.
